Official Launching Function @Conference Hall,Directorate of Women and Child Development,Aizawl. The functioned was chaired by Pi Zonunpari Sailo,Jt.Director,WCD Mizoram and the awareness month was launched by Pi Zoramthangi Chhangte,Director,WCD Mizoram.The Director also released the video clip prepared by State Adoption Resource Agency(SARA) during the launching function. Ms.Lalmuanpuii Chhakchhuak,Programme Manager gave a report of adoption programme in the State.The Programme Manager stated that adoption programme (under JJ Act)in the State was started in the year 2003,since then adoption of the child is process only under the JJ Act and,a total number of 400 children has been given in adoption to In-Country and Inter-Country respectively.Pi Sailopari Sailo,Deputy Director,WCD and Nodal Officer,SARA ended the function with Vote of Thanks.
