Women Helpline (WHL) Mizoram - 181


1. WHL System integrated with ERSS-112 was launch on 25th August, 2023 along with 11 other States.

2. WHL Mizoram has now become the 1st state in the country to successfully complete call routing to the new system and therefore has become the 1st State to receive calls/case through the new system developed by CDAC.

3. The setting up of WHL Unit workstations is completed at 8 OSCs in 8 Districts. 

4. MPLS connection for OSCs (i.e. Aizawl, Lunglei, Kolasib, Serchhip) will be implemented after the Election (7th November, 2023). Awaiting for an update for the remaining 4 districts from BSNL regarding the same.

5. The total no. of calls received from July, 2016 to October, 2023 is 16683.
