This Training Centre is run to impart training to Anganwadi Workers and Helpers and other functionaries headed by Principal. There are 6 (six) other staff like Instructress, Pre-School Instructress, Health Instructress, U.D.C. and IV-Grade. All necessary decision concerning training programme and the training centre are made with due approval of Director, Woman & Child Development. All policy matters and significant decision are usually taken at Administrative /Directorate level. The Centre is situated at Laipuitlang, Aizawl.

Anganwadi Training Centre has been run for conducting trainings for Anganwadi Workers and Anganwadi Helpers since 1983. The training centre has a capacity of 35 seaters with hostel facility.
